General Rules:

This is a friendly server, don’t be a dick to others ⧉.
No harassment, trolling, racism, prejudice, bigotry, offensive material, use of hate groups, etc. This includes in voice or text; signs; notes; images; or in the name of your clan/clan description; your in-game name; or your Discord name.
No cheating,exploiting, or hacking.
Names need to be in English characters.
No griefing ⧉.
No code raiding or changing codes; No insiding a clan, when you leave a group, you can only take what you farmed. Never use a code that you find.
Attempting to skirt the rules or not abiding by the spirit of the server, will lead to a warning or ban.
Despawning loot to deny opponents their rewards is not allowed. This also includes other methods of denying people getting loot (example: giving away all loot). This also includes raiders, if you can’t take all the loot with you, don’t dump things on the floor.
No dropping supply signals in frontiers/cities. They should only be dropped on your own land, unclaimed land, NML, or open ocean.
Admin Assistance: If players are making an event/build for the community where they don’t profit, they can appeal to staff for assistance. Staff will decide if the reason is valid to assist.

This is a friendly server, don’t be a dick to others.

Don’t be a dick includes many different situations. A few examples but not limited include the following…

Lootings NPCs you didn’t kill/barrels you didn’t break.
Stealing loot from an illegal raid/KOS.
Tricking/luring/driving someone into a KOS area.
Following players around with the intention to annoy them.
Refusing to leave a player/their base/vehicle after being asked to leave.
Giving out guns, ammo, weapons to new/random players that could be used to break rules.
Intentionally causing lag for trolling purposes or to make some type of point.
Bragging about looting/stealing/killing someone
Hanging around the location where you killed/looted someone legally.
Don’t ruin the fun for other people if they are hanging out or hosting an event. Events are hard enough to host. If you go to an event/gathering and interrupt/cause trouble/stealing or any other action that ruins the fun for others, it will result in a time out from the server.
Going to places where people are making a trade just to steal items.
Using a keycard room when someone else opened it.
Honeycombing/expanding a base after receiving an eviction notice. If you do this, admins may decide to destroy your base without warning.
For personal or native heli: No looting other group/players bodies or boxes that are inside of a base damaged by the fight.
Changing your name in an attempt to avoid fallout from player issues (such as stealing, trolling) or rule breaking.
Hotel/city owners raiding or robbing their own tenants (including on purge).
Draining a turret when there is no loot present. If you see something lootable, you can drain to reach it. But if there was no loot and you do this multiple times, it will be considered griefing.
Stream sniping is in violation of rule #1 but it can be hard to prove. To provide evidence so you need to submit either a clip of the situation or the timestamp on your stream or video so that we have data.
- What we can enforce: Someone with the same name on your stream fighting you in-game. Someone admitting to stream sniping you.
- What we can’t enforce: Getting shot by someone you didn’t see. Unless the person admits it, it is impossible to prove if they are stream sniping or saw their opponent first.

Note: This does not include activities that are a base part of the Rust experience that don’t violate our other rules. This would include things such as stealing from bases, killing someone in a bubble when they are farming nodes, killing a sleeper within looting distance, breaking twig, etc etc etc.
