They had hatcheted down his doors and torn his art from his walls. He had escaped through a window in the back, and as he fled his home, he glimpsed his horses lifeless outside the barn.&nbsp; He almost made it to the train station when a rock connected to his temple, and his body traveled to the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And yet&#8230;here he was. Pulling himself upright, he spat out the sand before noticing figures all around him in similar confusion. \u201cAre&#8230;are we dead?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A woman to his right shook her head, \u201cLooks like we were all brought here. No one quite remembers how they got here, but we all seem intact.\u201d She gestured to his bag, \u201cYou should have a hammer and building plans in there like the rest of us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maxwell shook the contents from his bag discovering that this stranger was correct. Before he could speak any further words appeared in the sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u201cWelcome to our Isle, chosen ones. It has been some time since architects and creators have graced our shores. The threads of your fate have brought you here. You will prove your worth. Those who succeed in becoming esteemed through your works will be rewarded with an eternal fame among us. Those who fail will be left to the confines of humanity. Go now.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the words faded, Maxwell began to hear a ticking sound. Others around him began to hurry towards the inners of the island, pressured to succeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maxwell knew he had to move fast as well. The game was on, and he intended to win it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Basics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You were brought to this island to compete in our contests.<\/li><li>Your creation(s) could become one of the chosen structures or fashion designs to be showcased in Rust Empires in the next Age.<\/li><li>Each individual can make up to 3 submissions per category.<\/li><li><strong>Not interested in creating\/designing? <\/strong>For our pvp folks, we will be adding the capture point that will earn you rewards.
